Proposal Date: May 1, 2007

Scope of Work:

Culverson Software proposes to take the source code to the existing ACME DAS software suite (comprising ACME DAS 3.1, ACME DAS Data Processor, ACME Wobbulator, and ACME Analyzer) and make the following changes:

  1. Conversion to LabVIEW 8.2
    1. Convert entire suite to LabVIEW 8.2, the development system from National Instruments.
    2. Provide the LabVIEW 8.2 Runtime Engine required to run the program (this is royalty-free).
  2. Frequency Analysis
    1. A FREQUENCY ANALYSIS window will be added to the Data Processor, allowing the viewing and printing of spectral displays, waterfall plots, and spectrograms.
    2. Parameters necessary to set up the analysis window (such as which source data file(s), which channels, and what time portions) will be saved in a separate setup file, and be recalled via a dialog.
    3. The latest settings will be saved automatically when the window is closed, and restored automatically when the window is re-opened. This means the next time you run the program and open the window, it will be just as you left it.
  3. Statistics
    1. A STATISTICS window will be added to the Data Processor, allowing the viewing of certain statistical calculations on the recorded data.
    2. The Statistics available will be Peak, Peak-Peak, RMS, Average, Standard Deviation, Dominant Frequency, and Dominant Amplitude.
    3. The user may choose a channel, a filter type (None, Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass), and the statistic(s) wanted.
    4. Output will be a spreadsheet-like table with the columns labeled with the channel's name, and the rows labeled with the statistic chosen.
    5. The output may be saved in a spreadsheet file via a SAVE button.

NOTE:  All software provided by the client to Culverson Software, and provided by Culverson Software to the client is proprietary, and will not be given, traded or sold to any other party without express written permission of the client.
